Next, look at their experience. Do they know the most current installation and repair techniques? Are they familiar with the latest HVAC technology? Ask for references too. Talk to past clients and look up reviews online to see what other people’s experiences have been.
Finally, get an estimate in writing from at least two or three different HVAC companies. Compare their prices so you can tell if one is astronomically high or if another seems too good to be true. Vetting your technician takes a bit of work, but it’s well worth it for a job well done — the first time.
